This is a four-bedroomed villa situated within a small hillside development of just three villas in the Ortaalan area of Kalkan. Villa Lycia has stunning views over both Kalkan and is set over three floors (the top floor is dedicated to one large bedroom suite with its own en-suite shower room, large roof terrace with table & chairs). The villa is larger than average as each floor is approximately 70 square metres and inlaid travertine marble flooring has been laid throughout. The villa is fully airconditioned and will comfortably sleep up to 10 guests (we would however, recommend that the 9th & 10th guests are children as they will be accommodated on extra single beds in the large twin bedroom or on the sofa/daybeds in the living area - this arrangement would probably not suit 10 adults). The walk into town will take around 15 minutes (downhill). A taxi home is a good idea though! The local supermarkets will deliver your shopping to the villa free of charge. We have had many positive comments and reviews from previous Villa Lycia guests - these have either been left in the villa's Visitor's Book, or they've been emailed to us following our guests' return home. Here's one recent review: "Eight of us stayed at Villa Lycia from 21 June through to 5 July 2010. The villa was everything we hoped it would be. Well designed and furnished the villa flowed perfectly and worked for us extremely well. Three of us having been to Kalkan before were excited to show our friends what a great place it is and the villa was a great start! The Turkish people are wonderful and very kind. The food is delicious, not only in the restaurants but also everything we bought to cook on the BBQ. The butcher's shop next to the Smile supermarket and the prawns and fish from the fish market behind the taxi rank were yummy. As far as trips are concerned, in addition to visiting the surrounding villages and places of interest we would recommend a boat trip for a day - try Sunset 1 with the captain Yalcin (good value and a very tasty lunch. Also for something different try the canoe trip, this was enjoyed by everyone who took part. On our list for next time (didn't manage to get there on this trip) would be the Patara Horse Riding Club for a ride along the beach on their lovely horses. The kitchen area contains dishwasher, built-in electric oven and gas hob, extractor, washing machine, extremely large fridge-freezer, ample crockery and utensils, iron and ironing board. Cool bags are also provided should you wish to take a picnic to the beach!

The living area contains two large wrought iron sofa/day beds, wrought iron arm-chair, coffee table, console table with CD player and IPOD docking station, side table and Satellite TV with DVD player. Internet WiFi connection. Double doors lead out to the pool, sun terrace and outside dining area. There is a spiral staircase in the living area to take you to the first and second floors (please note that small children or people with walking disabilities may find this difficult to use). There is also a shower room / WC on this level adjacent to the double bedroom (see below).

The dining area contains a glass-topped wrought iron table and chairs. We are able to provide a high-chair on request.

The ground floor double bedroom is situated next to a separate shower room/WC.

The bedroom contains a kingsize wrought iron bed with mosquito net, bedside tables, wardrobe, dressing table with mirror & stool and a hairdryer. A door leads out to the pool & terrace area.

This is a very spacious bedroom containing two single wrought iron beds each with mosquito net, bedside tables, small sofa, large wardrobe, dressing table and en-suite shower room/WC. Two additional single beds can be added to this room if required making it an ideal room for the children to share. Double doors lead out to large veranda-style balcony which has three director's chairs. We are also able to provide one or two cots on request.

This bedroom contains a kingsize wrought iron four-poster bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, dressing table and an en-suite shower room/WC. A door leads out to the large veranda-style balcony which is shared by the twin bedroom.

	This bedroom contains a kingsize wrought iron bed with mosquito net, wardrobe, bedside table, armchair, dressing table, hairdryer and ensuite shower room/WC. Double doors lead out to the spacious roof terrace with glass-topped wrought iron table & chairs. This room has a large en-suite shower room.

	Stunning views over Kalkan Village and bay, large freshwater pool, terrace area, dining area, stone-built BBQ, sunbeds, parasols and deckchairs. The pool dimensions are approximately 9 metres x 6 metres (at widest points) and 1.65 metres deep. Please note that there is no shallow end and access to the pool is via ladder-type steps (not graduated ones). This may present problems for small children or people with disabilities. Villa Lycia is within a small development of just three villas (there is a slightly smaller villa on either side of it) and it is therefore not completely isolated. Some of the roads that surround the villas are unmade and may present difficulties for the elderly or infirm.
